Allie Knapp
School Leader of the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan
Allie Knapp is the founding School Leader of the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan, a public-school academy high school managed by Kinexus Group. In her role, Allie provides instructional, operational, and administrative leadership to the Academy. She also leads to organize, supervise, and evaluate development of curriculum, Academy programs, staff and student achievement, while overseeing the day-to-day operations. She also spearheads implementation, execution, and long-range planning of the academic and vocational services as delivered in the Academy to yield positive student outcomes.

Allie joined the Kinexus Group team as a Youth Instructional Specialist in 2013 and moved to Manager of Education Services in 2016, where she oversaw both youth and adult education services and was named Director of Bridge Academy in 2019. In her more than ten years of service, Allie has been driving change in the education space through a variety of programs and roles that have established a passion for service to our community and ensuring paths to success for all students. In 2022, Allie was a Moody on the Market 40 Under 40 recipient.

Knapp earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education for English and Communication from Western Michigan University. In addition, she holds Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University. In her free time, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and hosting gatherings with friends. She was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and currently resides in St. Joseph, Michigan.
